The Business Systems Analyst III (BSA) is responsible for overseeing the technical execution of one to many projects and tasks in varying IT areas such as application development, application support, systems administration, business intelligence, network administration and others. In addition to coordination and oversight of technical tasks during the execution phase of the project, the Business Systems Analyst III (BSA) will be responsible for gathering and documenting customer requirements by interviewing and understanding customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT practices and terminology in order to be knowledgeable enough to know when to raise questions in order to correctly drive the project execution tasks to completion. The candidate will need to be bright, imaginative, and a capable technologist with strong communication skills, specifically seeking an environment where they will impact the direction of the organization, and be a key contributor to overall success of the business. The pace is exceptionally fast at SNC, and our dynamic environment will see many new projects in the coming year. The Business Systems Analyst III (BSA) will need to be agile and flexible, as changes will be certain and frequent.
As SNCs corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.
Responsibilities:
Develop and document audit road-map and plan to validate system controls and compliance standards
Research and interpret system logs and records • Decipher complex workflows and user/system interaction
Requirements analysis and decomposition with a compliance and system controls perspective
Systems validation & verification
Model based development process and alignment
Customer interaction
Audit Project oversight and coordination
Must-haves:
Bachelors Degree in a related field, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Contract Administration with 6 years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
5 years of compliance experience
5 years of experience in systems applications and products in data processing in a Source-to-Pay (Ivalua) or similar systems
5 years of experience with subcontract/procurement compliance with public laws, policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR) and ITAR and import/export requirements
Experience in the ability to research and interpret systems logs and records
Experience deciphering complex workflows and user/systems interactions
SQL experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
Able to quickly understand processes and ensure adherence
Experience reviewing and advising to process and system improvements in an automated environment
Experience testing / validating software with the lens of system compliance
Experience reviewing and advising to software application / system improvements in an automated environment
Must be able to deploy a systematic approach to work and must have an aptitude for performing work functions in a timely and well-organized manner with limited oversight
Adapt to constantly changing work assignments, consistently make timely decisions while balancing conflicting goals with decisiveness in an ambiguous environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up-like atmosphere
Participation in a culture of excellence and teamwork
Ability to clearly and concisely conveys subtle or complex messages to a variety of audiences, both written and verbal
SmartSheet and MS SharePoint experience preferred
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $94,345.12 – $129,724.54. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
