About our group:

Seagate Technology is seeking a test process engineering intern for its
development and process architecture team in Longmont, Colorado Design
Center. This is a technical position with broad responsibility to work with
mentors in the group to develop and advance the manufacturing test process
solutions for the best-in-class Cloud hard disk drives.

About the role – you will:

Design and implementation of software and firmware test process solutions for
the newest technologies in hard drive manufacturing. Incorporation of these
solutions into the early phase of product development cycle by performing
integration, testing, failure analysis and resolution, and drive
performance characterization.
Significant interaction and coordination with other design engineering
functions that result in successful delivery of cross-functional designs.
Delivery of innovative architectural solutions that serve as backbone for test
process software and firmware.

About you:

The candidate should be hands-on with a proven ability to debug software and
firmware issues – all directed towards identifying failure root cause and
driving corrective action.
This is a highly collaborative position requiring excellent communication and
technical leadership skills.
Demonstrable ability to conceive and develop solutions to complex engineering
problems.

Your experience includes:

Python and/or C expertise and familiarity with source code control systems
such as Perforce is highly desirable.
Current student pursuing a Bachelors or Mastersdegree in Electrical or
Computer Engineering, Math, Physics, or Computer Science and returning
to classes in Fall 2025.

Colorados 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we
inform you of the estimated base salary range for this position: $24 –
$35/hr. Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in
the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your
skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate,
and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the
qualifications of the selected candidate.
