Position Title:Hourly Sanitation Support

Purpose & Scope:
Hourly Sanitation Support is to be assigned to the sanitation department performing one or a combination of the following duties. Play a crucial role in overseeing and performing hand-on sanitation operations at our facility. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure cleanliness, adherence to sanitation protocols, and a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with the team.

Job Description:
Understand sanitation operations:
Perform hand-on sanitation activities, including cleaning, scrubbing and sanitizing, and organizing work areas and equipment.
Follow established sanitation protocols and procedures to maintain cleanliness and meet regulatory requirements.
Monitor and inspect work areas to identify and address sanitation processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.
Safety and compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations during sanitation processes.
Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management
Maintain a clean and organized storage area for sanitation supplies and chemicals
Understand Food Safety, GMP, SSOP requirements
Understand pace flow
Maintain labor standards and pace
Constant walking and or standing
Use of hands to fingers
Feel objects
Reach with hands and arms
Lift up to 75 lbs.
Vision capabilities
Overnight work
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Authorized to work in the US
18 years of age or more
Able to work fulltime M-F; Weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Previous experience in sanitation or related field if preferred
Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, twisting, lifting and standing for extended periods
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Basic knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
Working Conditions:
Cold environment
Manufacturing setting
Standing or walking for prolonged periods of time
Repetitive motion
Uneven surfaces and slippery floors
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
Base salary range of $19.50 entry level
