Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an API 510 Inspector to join the asset integrity team for a large oil and gas client in Greeley, CO. The main responsibility of the API 510 Inspector include driving to different well sites throughout Northern Colorado to conduct vessel inspections and writing reports for each. This includes review inspection reports & necessary documentation prior as well as writing and tracking reports after inspection. Additionally, this person will also be involved in scope writing for NDE equipment inspections and overseeing welding repair execution/NDE inspections. This individual will need to be comfortable with and experienced in making difficult decisions regarding vessel condition if something is not up to code while maintaining a high level of integrity. These decisions will affect production & profitability so its crucial this person can back up any decisions made with facts. Its also important for this person to build strong relationships across various internal departments, including brownfield & greenfield engineering, maintenance/execution, compression and other teams as needed. Lastly, this individual needs to be an excellent team player with a great attitude.

There will be a big driving component to this role and the contractor will need to have a reliable personal truck or SUV they are willing to drive as well as a clean driving record and insurance. The territory extends from Brighton to New Raymer Colorado and he/she will be driving daily. Mileage will be reimbursed at $.67 per mile and the candidate can plan to drive 400-500 miles per week. Average weekly hours will be 50 hours per week and occasional Saturday work as needed. There is flexibility on the daily shift but its typically 7a-5p. The candidate will also get a phone allowance of $100 a month and be expected to use their own or purchase their own work phone. Hourly pay range is $55-62.

CWI or CPWI

NACE/AMPP Certified API-510 Inspector

Experience within upstream oil and gas vessel inspections null
