Position and Responsibilities:
Set up machinery based on specifications provided in production orders.
Ability to operate lift trucks and overhead cranes
Operate machines to produce high-quality products in accordance with
established standards and procedures.
Monitor machines during operation to detect any malfunctions or deviations
from standards.
Adjust machine settings to optimize efficiency, speed, and output.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning,
lubricating, and minor repairs.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make
adjustments as necessary.
Collaborate with other team members to achieve production targets and
deadlines
Keep accurate records of machine operations, maintenance activities, and
production output.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the production process.
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to understand and comply with all safety and shop rules
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to perform minor maintenance
Intermediate math to include some trigonometry and geometry
Contributes to a team under general supervision of an experienced professional
or manager.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of previous experience
Requires judgment or initiative in resolving issues and making
recommendations.
Knowledge of machine settings, adjustments, and maintenance procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Attention to detail and precision in operating machinery.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to mentor Machine Operator 1s
Understands continuous improvement initiatives and is willing and able to make
contributions
Must be cross trained on most machines

RK Mechanical employees and subcontractors are required to implement and

requirements of RK Mechanical Orientation, shop specific orientation,

Reporting, and OSHA 10.
Minimum Physical Requirements:
Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.
Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse
locations.
Cl mb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
Work in all types of weather.
Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45
pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22
pounds of force constantly to move objects
