POSITION: Criminal Justice Services Manager

The Criminal Justice Services Manager under organizational direction is
responsible for leadership, administration, coordination and management of
the following programs:
Adult Diversion pursuant to SB22-196 and 18-1.3-101 C.R.S.
Juvenile Diversion as defined in the Colorado Childrens Code (Section
19-1-103(44), C.R.S)
Pretrial Services as per the Administrative Order 2021-08
Colorado Alternative Sentencing Program (CSP), Useful Public Service (UPS)
DUTIES:
Develop, implement and review department policies and procedures to ensure
compliance with federal law, State statutes, industry standards, grant
requirements, organizational policy and strategic goals.
Oversee, request and manage budgets, grants, projects, and financial
matters, annually to ensure consistency with the County mission statement
and strategic plan.
Responsible for supervision and management of staff; plan, direct,
supervise and evaluate their performance; interview and select employees and
recommend transfers, reassignment, termination and disciplinary actions;
write and conduct performance evaluations; arrange for appropriate training
and development; ensure employees comply with applicable occupational health
and safety standards, department and organizational policies; compliance
with all governing laws; seeks support from human resources department and
follows generally accepted human resource laws, policies and protocols.
Responsible for writing or collaborating on grants through DCJ (Department
of Criminal Justice), JAG (Justice Assistance Grant), OJJDP
(Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention), and other
funding sour
Responsible for ensuring cost effectiveness through oversight of program
revenues and expenditures.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in
criminal justice, public administration, social work, political
science, or other closely related field is required; masters degree in
related field is preferred.
Five (5) years of recent experience working in the criminal justice
system, public administration, or human services field is required.
Three (3) years of recent management experience is strongly desired,
including a history of effectively applying for and being awarded grants.
Must have demonstrative experience in strategic planning, data analysis,
evidence-based practices and program evaluation.
Combination of education and experience could waive specific requirement.
Must have a valid drivers license.
WAGE: $60,597 to $77,337/ Annually
SHIFT: Full time – 40 Hours per week
