This client facing role duties include assessing customer OH technology platforms across the care continuum to assist in planning, applying interventions and evaluating the impact of the intervention from quality, regulatory compliance, improved delivery of safe patient care at a reduced cost. The Informatics role will leverage and act on user experience data to assist in day-to-day role functionals, maintain collaborative relationships both within OH and our customer base and engaged across OH business units to deliver a seamless high quality EHR experience to OH customers.

Essential responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a complete understanding of the Oracle Health applications

Assess and develop EHR competency levels through interpretation of end user data and influence customers to follow recommendation actions to strength performance and increase measurable efficiency and satisfaction with the EHR.

Operate as a change agent for health organization leaders and users to promote best practice adoption of new and existing processes and technologies

Coordinate OH strategic consulting service lines to achieve and reinforce Oracle Health goals by increasing continuous improvement engagements across the NA customer base

Monitor effectiveness of holistic strategic consulting engagements across multiple engagements. Monitoring may include stakeholder oversight of work items, data and other key functions and communication.

Assist/advise the customer with the development and maintenance of training practices across all products and workflows

Experience and/or strong understanding of working in a clinical setting

Strong technical skills: ability to quickly adapt to emerging technologies and innovation

Strong project management skills

An affinity for obtaining, analyzing, and strategizing about data

Understanding of medical economics

Strong interpersonal skills

Leadership experience

Experience:

Required: At least 5 year of health care information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or support work experience

Preferred:

At least 2 years of end-user support work experience

At least 1 year of reporting systems and data collection work experience

Skills:

Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English

Demonstrates strong interpersonal relationship skills, an understanding of organizational behavior, creative problem solving, self-motivation, and excellent oral and written communication skills

Effective presentation, coaching, and team building skills

Basic computer knowledge using e-mail, SharePoint, and web browsers, and Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience with reporting platforms such as PowerBi, Oracle Analytics, Tableau, Health Data Intelligence platforms is a plus

Responsibilities

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
