HonorHealth is looking for a Practice Administrator to oversee the Central Region and manage the day-to-day activities of one (1) Urgent Care facility. This ideal candidate will possess a higher independent skill set as a strong operational leader as well as a people leader. The job requires a Bachelors degree OR four (4) years related work experience of leading multiple physician practice along with 2 years managing a medical practice. Other skills that will ensure success in the role includes knowledge of KPIs, strategic planning, excellent communication sills and an ambitious and aggressive personality that can recognize the needs of a Practice. Responsibilities Job Summary The Practice Administrator manages at least one medical practice as well as coordinates and manages all operations that are related to assigned medical practices. Is responsible for the oversight of multi -practice operations including financial, employee engagement, retention and patient experience for complex Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Specialty practices. Responsible for ensuring that high quality patient care and customer service is delivered in the most financially efficient way. Works in a strong dyad relationship with the physician practice, Practice Manager, and/or Director. Collaborates with all HonorHealth leaders in the market and the medical group to provide seamless and integrated service to our patients. Establishes direction and strategic initiatives for assigned practices. Ensure appropriate customer service, access to care, and addresses and resolves escalated patient complaints In partnership with Medical Group Director and Practice Manager, oversees and directs the administration of primary care, multi-specialty and subspecialty practices. Directs operations of practices, assists with physician recruitment, contracting, program development and support physician initiatives. Analyzes financial reports and directs and implements operational changes to optimize practice performance and to meet financial expectations. Supports the quality, risk and patient care coordination programs of Innovation Care Partners (ICP).Ensures the smooth operations of the practices by managing, overseeing and improving office operations. Oversees development and maintenance of systems, manual and automated, to properly support EMG practice activities. Determines work procedures and monitors work flow. Recommends, develops and implements improvements in policies and procedures for the practice. Ensure appropriate customer service; address and resolve patient complaints at a regional level. Communicates and interacts with other internal and external areas, including physicians, as appropriate to achieve efficient and effective operations within the medical practices. Responsible for strong financial performance through ensuring proper controls and practices are followed and documented to secure the financial viability of the practice. Prepares and executes budget; monitors and approves payroll, ordering of supplies, and inventory. Also ensures accurate charge capture. Oversees practice leaders to staff and ensure adequate staffing levels, inclusive of hiring/onboarding, evaluating, managing performance, coaching and developing practice leaders and employees ensuring employee productivity, quality of work, and alignment of goals with our mission, vision, and ICARE values. Ensure compliance with all policies, financial stewardship by being accountable for the financial integrity around development and maintenance of department budget Ensures compliance for various accrediting bodies and government agencies and performs all necessary reviews, audits, education, and training to maintain compliant status. Serves as the compliance liaison for the practice. Analyzes practice efficiencies, workflows, patient access, and patient satisfaction to improve processes, drive improved patient perceptions, and standardize best practices across the primary care and specialty delivery system. In conjunction with leadership, identify, oversee and execute network and operations growth opportunities. Identify areas for improvement and driving change initiatives to completion to improve overall operations and financial outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelors Degree or 4 years work related experience of leading multiple physician practice in addition to minimum experience listed below. Required Experience 2 years managing a Medical Practice Required Licenses and Certifications Fingerprint Clearance Card – State Have a current Fingerprint Clearance card, or within seven (7) working days after employment shall apply and be eligible for a Fingerprint Clearance Card (Pediatric Behavioral Health Sites ONLY) Required
