Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment

Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for dispensing medications. All duties are performed under the supervision of a Lead Technician and a licensed pharmacist.

Demonstrates a working knowledge of all pharmacy rules and regulations

Correctly pulls medication to be counted

Counts and labels medication

Answers patient phone calls and assists walk up customers, while providing excellent customer service

Pulls expired medications

Maintains proper storage and security conditions for drugs

Restocks supplies and general cleaning of pharmacy

Hard Skills

Tech Trainee OR PTCB required

The ability to work independently and use own initiative

Ability to listen and follow instructions

An awareness of health and safety regulations

Strong listening skills and attention to detail

Good computer skills (Microsoft office products, email, internet)

Ability to work as part of a team and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Youngtown, Arizona.

Pay

$17 – $19 (Depending on experience)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday hours varies between 7am-6pm

Work Environment

Compounding Pharmacy, closed door.
