Under the supervision of a pharmacist, as the pharmacy technician, fill prescription orders accurately and efficiently.
Fill medication orders accurately and efficiently using the in-house system.
Accurate counting of medications utilizing a manual process as well as Kirby counters.
Assist the pharmacist with scanning and labeling of special program medication orders in the bulk area.
Review order for special instructions such as safety caps and include appropriate paperwork and supplies with each order.
Adhere to Pharmacy Tech protocol and sign off that guidelines are understood (yearly) Perform ancillary duties to support all Fulfillment functions. Replenish stock and perform cleaning and maintenance for all pill counting equipment.As a pharmacy technician, you should possess high levels of reliability, professionalism, customer focus, problem solving, and team orientation must be exhibited to ensure success in this position.Additional responsible for the tasks associated with the management of inventory at the facility. Specific tasks would include, but are not limited to, purchasing, and receiving of inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances, replenishment tasks, put away, cycle counting, return product management, B/O and days supply monitoring and selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor. Managing return goods according to standard operating procedures while also monitoring product trends and shortages to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained, as well as removing short dated or expired product from active inventory, filling inventory, and SOX documentation.This role also ensures the pharmacy pick and pack stations are properly stocked and maintained with medication and supplies, place approved orders for shipping supplies, assist in maintaining dispensing and back stock refrigerators in a well-organized manner, and to assist in receiving, posting, put-away, and cycle counting functions.Assist in the packing orders /shipping area when necessary or day to day basis.Our organization offers a competitive benefit package which includes, but is not limited to, Paid Time Off, 10 Paid Holidays, health/dental/vision insurance, employee discounted stock purchase program, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts at all CVS stores. Available schedule; Sunday from 8:05am – 4:30pm, and Monday – Thursday 12:40pm – 5:30 pm
Required Qualifications
•Current Nevada State Board of Pharmacy-Pharmacy Technician License
•Six months work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
•Six months computer keyboarding skills and aptitude
•Must be able to sit or stand for duration of shift (8-10 hours)
•While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is required to utilize a keyboard and operate departmental machinery
•Prefer three months experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone
•Prefer Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions
•Prefer Medical billing, coding, and other medical assisting roles
•Prefer customer service experience in an office environment
•High school diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer three months of work experience in a pick/pack/ship environment.
• Prefer three months of work computer experience
• National Certificate (CPhT) preferred
• Prior retail pharmacy experience is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Candidate must have the ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
• Basic computer and typing skill required

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 – $31.30
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
