Job Description

Become an Executive Assistant – Digital Science Solutions at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. Work closely with VP DSS and VP Digital Product & Portfolio, providing outstanding business support and flawless initiative execution

What Will You Do?

· Thought partner to the VP GM DSS & DSS Leadership team

· Translate ideas from the VPs into complete solutions (e.g., quarterly leadership meetings, service meetings, town halls)

· Drive business initiatives, ensuring timelines are met and track progress using X Matrix

· Drive delivery of implementation of X-Matrix actions and assigned programs

· Build action plans aligned with the goal tree; reporting on important metrics to ensure teams stay on track

· Inspire change initiatives within the Services Leadership Team by encouraging the adoption of new processes, supporting gap analysis, and developing action plans to enhance services business.

· Compile and distribute files & reports between the DSS leadership team and other internal functional areas as directed by the VPs

· Join project teams as support to ensure the vision and aims are reinforced as required

· Produce monthly and quarterly business reports

· Lead projects as required

· Booking travel arrangements and accommodation as required

· Internal and external meeting & event coordination in support of the VPs

· Prepare and produce agendas, meeting papers, PowerPoint documents, strategy documents, reports, presentations, and follow-up notes and actions to deadlines

How Will You Get There?

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors preferred

Experience: 5 years of relevant experience preferred

· Confident, flexible, and confidential

· This role operates within a Matrix environment requiring the post holder to work effectively with multiple collaborators, managing both conflicting requirements and concurrent project activity. Strong project, time, and collaborator management proficiency is therefore essential to handle various priorities and meet established deadlines.

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria

– Language skills: English – full professional proficiency required

· Bachelors Degree in Communication or a related field, or equivalent experience in the industry.

· Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills required

· Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office including Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook

· Ability to work at the highest level of confidentiality, handling sensitive material concerning the business daily

· Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously with little or no supervision.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $31.73–$47.60.
