About the role
You are the senior commercial team lead in the USA for all Sales and Marketing activities.
You are a player coach: you lead by finding and closing strategic deals yourself and you show the way by coaching and growing the commercial team in Americas, consisting of 1 sales hunter, 1 customer success manager, and 1 marketer.
You have a broad portfolio of the full Microsoft stack at your disposal, and you understand you lead with digital business transformation.
You prefer to lead with Dynamics 365, expanding into other services such as Azure, Security, Data/AI and Microsoft/Office 365.
You are a senior member of the Americas Leadership Team, reporting to the Global EVP of Sales and Managing Director Americas.
The Americas is the largest of our Global regions with offices in Atlanta, Seattle, San Diego and Puerto Rico.
Proximity to one of our offices is an advantage, but your location in the USA can be anywhere, provided you’re able to travel to clients and our offices in Europe or globally, where your expert colleagues are.
Responsibilities
Growing the revenue and profit in the USA in line with corporate goals.
Developing sales strategies and tactics.
Developing and managing the sales cycles from opportunity to sales closure, including presales, product experts and other members of your win team.
Driving Sales excellence in CRM creates team transparency, data driven global learning, and accurate forecasting.
Leading by example as a sales hunting contributor for key deals.
Coaching your team to up/cross sell within our existing client base, as well as close new logos.
Making cold calls yourself and with your team when appropriate, performing account-based marketing activities and following-up on leads generated from marketing and networking.
Drive winning marketing activities with the USA and global marketeer, including the communication of and participation in webinars, virtual and in-person events.
Working closely with Microsoft on developing and closing opportunities.
Nurturing your prospect by staying in touch and delivering high quality personal touch points to prospects alongside our marketing nurture.
Required qualifications
10 years B2B sales track record in an international cloud environment with a focus on business applications.
Demonstrated years of sales management success in player coach roles in small teams
Experience with Microsoft Solutions. Dynamics 365 track record is a must. Additional experience with Azure, Security, Data AI, Modern Workplace, ordered by priority) is preferred.
An independent self-starter and no-nonsense mentality.
Bachelor’s degree in business or technology (or related field) or equivalent experience.
You believe and are experienced in Account Based Marketing.
Experience of one (or more) of our key industries, notably manufacturing and distribution, is an advantage.
Strong established relationships with Microsoft teams. Experience in working with Microsoft sell-with / Collaborative programs also known as Microsoft “Co-sell” is an advantage.
Track record and strong, active network in midsized, international companies in our industry verticals is an advantage.
