Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Description:

Designs, develops, and implements complex algorithms for controller design, system identification, signal processing, and dataset analysis using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques.

Engages in a variety of AI projects, including physics-based model development, machine learning, and Generative AI (Gen-AI) for EUV source development. Collaborates with engineering teams to integrate ML models and solutions, ensuring they are optimized and aligned with broader product goals.

Leads the exploration and application of Large Language Models and Generative AI, pioneering new areas within these fields. Actively participates in all stages of model development, from ideation and experimentation to deployment. Works with large-scale datasets and engages in intensive hands-on algorithm development.

Applies scientific and mathematical control design principles and concepts to potential inventions and products using ML techniques and tools. Conducts laboratory research on algorithm design and validation, as well as ML model development and evaluation. Sets the strategic direction for the team, fostering an environment that encourages innovation and professional growth. Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

An advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Physics, Engineering or a related field

10 years’ experience overall. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

Experience in the semiconductor industry a plus.

Ongoing professional development in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence domains is expected.
