Position Overview:

This position is available to work from home within the Sutter Health Northern California footprint with responsibility to work out of our West Sacramento office at times.

Provides high level technical expertise in support of several areas of departmental activity. Is heavily involved in the implementation and support of medical technology throughout Sutter Health. Works directly with client facilities to ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety in their use of medical equipment. Leads the investigation of patient problems associated with clinical equipment. Acts as a focal point for all new applications of computer technology. Provides general services in support of special projects throughout Sutter Heath.

Job Description :

EDUCATION:

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Masters: Clinical, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration or Management

Registration as a Professional Engineer, Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE), and/or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Clinical Engineering.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

8 years recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Demonstrated understanding of the various regulations that apply in the divers healthcare environments supported by BMEC.

This position requires a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment of hospitals, ACSs, and medical groups / clinics.

Pay Range is $58.95 to $88.43 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
