Job Description
Our Client is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join their team. They produce large-scale pressure vessels used in industrial and commercial buildings and other applications. They are only interested in high-level combo welders (MIG/TIG) that can hit the ground running and require little/no training.
Analyze and comprehend layouts, blueprints, diagrams, work orders, welding procedures or oral instructions in preparation for welding or cutting metal components
Set up welding equipment to maximize efficient project completion
Measure and align metal parts
Operate power equipment, boom lifts, man-lifts, warehouse forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.
Operate power and hand-held welding tools safely and responsibly
Cut, form, tack weld and measure parts for correct fit
Use plasma burn, grind and/or air arc metal as required
Able and willing to perform other types of mechanical job duties that are necessary to support the team and complete the project
Proficient in evaluating personnel welds for quality and precision, with the ability to make necessary adjustments to ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications.

This is a fully on-site position in Boring, Oregon.
Work Environment
Family owned metals fabrication shop. They mostly build pressure vessels for industrial applications. They just built a new building on their campus and are working on filling that team up. Brand new machines
