Landlord Liaison

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities Conduct outreach to
landlords and real estate agents/brokers to build relationships and
spread information about CoC housing programs. Maintain a list of
landlords and real estate agents/brokers throughout the CoC who are
willing to work with CoC housing programs. Connect landlords and real
estate agents/brokers with case managers at VSPs conducting housing
search for clients who are fleeing or attempting to flee DV. Maintain
knowledge about affordable housing opportunities to share with VSPs.
Work with VSPs to streamline their lease up process to make the system
more efficient. Develop training materials to guide case managers
through the lease-up process with a landlord. Develop a comprehensive
landlord outreach and engagement strategy for reaching new landlords and
maintaining existing relationships. Support VSPs in creating a landlord
appreciation program. Work closely with VSPs to understand their housing
needs and be able to effectively market opportunities to potential
landlords. Attend regional and local meetings relevant to the DV CE
System. Receive feedback from landlords to improve the DV CE system.

Required Working knowledge of the rental housing market Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Position requires a car and the
ability to reliably travel . Supervisory Responsibility This position
does not have supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job
operates in an office and professional environment. This role routinely
uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers.
On occasion the job will require going out to events or other
organizations, based on the needs of the business. Physical Demands This
is mostly sedentary in an office space but requires occasional local
travel. This would require the ability to sit at a desk, frequently
walk, bend or stand as necessary. Position Type and Expected Hours of
Work Designated days and schedule will be primarily Monday-Friday from
9am-5pm though hours will be based on the needs of the business and may
require weekends, nights or early mornings on occasion. Travel Position
requires regular travel throughout the CoC as needed to connect with
landlords and VSPs. Mileage is reimbursable.
