Amazon seeks a Financial Analyst to be a key member in our Devices finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most innovative and fast-growing businesses of Amazon in a role where you will have regular interaction with executives and various business units across the organization.
Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong data collection and modeling capabilities, a keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
The role also requires regular interaction with various business teams, providing reporting and business support for decision making and ability to influence decisions through effective logical reasoning and the presentation of alternatives/scenarios.
Key job responsibilities
• Presenting financial summaries and business insights to senior management
• Developing scalable and efficient financial processes that support the business
• Deriving meaningful insights and recommendations from large data sets
• Tracking initiatives that span multiple business functions
• Leading ad hoc financial analyses and supporting the financial planning process
• Coordinating and supporting planning and month-end close processes
Basic Qualifications
– Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or related field, or Bachelors degree
– 3 years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Preferred Qualifications
– MBA, or CPA
– Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
– Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
