Amazon Customs & Trade (ACT) provides simplified customs brokerage and trade compliance services for Amazon Sellers, External customers, and Internal business lines.

The ACT team is seeking an exceptionally bright, multitasking, and self-motivated individual to support the Directors leading the Ops and Product & Program functions. This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside the company is important, as is a good sense of humor. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action with strong ambiguity and show grace under pressure.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include the ability to contribute to a global administrative support team, to think and plan ahead, delegate responsibilities appropriately, and manage time effectively. This position may provide back-up to the lead EA to the VP of the organization on occasion.

A day in the life

– Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities, and calendars

– Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements

– Tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items

– Act as a liaison for direct reports

– Drive key team activities such as staff meeting agendas, off-sites, and all-org meetings

– Space planning

– Travel coordination and expense reimbursement

– Management of special projects as needed

– Have fun at work and help others do the same

Basic Qualifications

– 2 years of senior level leadership support, or 1 years of Amazon experience

– High school or equivalent diploma

– Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

– Experience with executive level calendar management

– Experience managing multiple calendars

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

– Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines

– Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
