Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for performing various physical jobs at Oldcastle sites. They will be responsible for lifting, palatalizing, and moving various bags of gravel and concrete weighing 60 lbs. Some of the machines are automatized, but at Oldcastle everything is done manually and requires candidates to complete repetitive and strenuous work for 10-12 hour shifts.

Work Environment

Oldcastle is a very dirty gravel and concrete manufacturing environment. Lots of dust and dirt in the air, forklifts moving throughout facilities in order to load equipment, and constant loud hum of machines that feed bags with different materials. Kent is an indoor/outdoor facility with a majority of the time spent indoors. The the person is mainly an outdoor facility that requires candidates to be in the elements of the weather.
