Job Description

The Lobby Ambassador is responsible for acknowledging every guest that approaches the hotel’s main entrances, using their name when appropriate. Assist guest at the lobby area with various requests and provide directions to all areas of the hotel. This position is also responsible for working closely with areas of operation relating to the guest experience that include but are not limited to Front Desk, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Engineering and Food and Beverage.

Responsibilities

Conduct Historical Tours.

Must have an outgoing personality.

Ability to work independently with little supervision and ability to problem solve and offer alternative solutions.

Offer directions and other assistance as necessary to guests.

Liaise with Front Office/ for details of groups, VIPs, Select Guest, promotions and packages

Communicate directly with guests, both in person and by telephone

Provide information on facilities, services, events, attractions and have knowledge of the surrounding areas, restaurants and points of interest

Provide travel routes and transportation services, area maps, brochures and other literature s

Create relationships with current and prospective Select Guest members

Qualifications

High School graduate required

Hospitality Program College Student preferred

Must be fluent in English. Ability to speak in other languages preferred but not required.
