Night Mechanic

Job Purpose:Maintains network communications by monitoring central office alarms; calling-out technicians; maintaining records; securing the facility.Duties: Clears alarms by operating computer. Restores service by analyzing alarms; calling-out technicians. Responds to emergencies by conferring with manager on call; activating the disaster plan; monitoring repairs and support required. Documents actions by completing logs; filing repair reports. Maintains customer records by inputting service information. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by securing facility doors; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
