Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one clean ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

The Manager plays an important leadership role with the J&J Innovative Medicine (IM) Transcend team and serves as a member of the Project Management Office. The Manager is responsible for serving as a program lead for one of the planned releases over all aspects of project planning, project management, risk management, resource management, stage gate readiness. They will also ensure appropriate project management tools are implemented and used by the collective team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and maintain up-to-date Project Timelines inclusive of all critical milestones, key interdependencies, financial commitments, and resource constraints, while applying appropriate project scheduling techniques

Monitor project status and execution; report timely updates via Project Templates and Dashboards

Deliver clear timely and effective verbal and written communication to teams, stakeholders and appropriate levels of the organization

Drive implementation of program methodology, including relevant templates, tools, methodology, controls, and cadence. Leverage and scale existing assets and standard processes

Proactively identify and raise risks and issues to relevant collaborators, lead development and delivery of tactical and achievable mitigation and contingency planning

Handle cross-program interdependencies, issues, and challenges by working with respective collaborators to implement controls, cadence, and risk mitigations

Ensure cross-program workstreams (Testing, Cutover, Hypercare, etc) are coordinated and performing per plan. Drive standard methodologies, scale, leveragability, and resource optimization

Work with the Business Cutover, Hypercare, and Business Test Leads to ensure system deployments are in line with Business testing, Compliance validation, and qualification protocols

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelors/University or equivalent degree is required

Certification such as PMP / FPX, APICS, Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence are helpful

Experience and Skills:

Required:

Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience

Experience within Operations, Supply Chain, or large transformation programs

Program Management experience (preferably on large, sophisticated business transformation programs)

Hands-on projectmanagement/delivery experience, including experience leading projects, timelines, and organizational change

Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate to reach a desired result

Strong communication to create clear and concise messaging to leadership and the ability to work well in teams, cross-functionally, and with all levels of the organization, as well as both internally and externally

Experience with Agile Methodology

Preferred:

Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or related industry

Experience leading/managing/developing people (direct or indirect reports)

Experience with JIRA or equivalent project management tools

SAP or other major ERP implementation experience

Other:

Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally

Requires up to 25% domestic and international travel

Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 USD to $172,500 USD.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporations performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation up to 120 hours per calendar year

Sick time – up to 40 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays up to 13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal, and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
