Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description
This position supervises the maintenance responsibilities and team, including predictive maintenance, equipment repair and rebuilds, electrical, refrigeration, grounds equipment, noise control, and maintenance training programs. The role involves supervising facility maintenance activities such as predictive maintenance, floor maintenance, diagnosis and repair, and emergency maintenance. Responsibilities include planning routine maintenance, scheduling, and following up on issues to develop solutions. The supervisor ensures that maintenance is performed to maximize available run time and monitors breakdowns to determine needs and assign resources. The role also involves keeping upper management informed of issues affecting the departments performance, reviewing equipment for proper safety devices, and maintaining parts and equipment inventories at approved levels. Supervising employees involves skills development, safety, housekeeping, policy administration, discipline, employee relations, cost control, and problem-solving. The supervisor must adjust the daily work schedule as needed to meet production requirements and ensure all company, state, and federal food safety requirements are met by maintenance employees.
Hard Skills
5 years related experience in maintenance, including 2 years leading teams
Knowledge and skills in general construction, electrical systems, electronic systems, microprocessors, and mechanical systems
Previous supervisor experience
Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Robbinsville Township, New Jersey.
Work Environment
Frozen food manufacturer. Must be comfortable with warm and cold temperatures. Clean environment – gowning required.
