Overview |
1. Provide evidence-based Ob/Gyn care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, teaching of medical students and residents, and other duties as assigned.
2. Work collaboratively with the existing academic, administrative, and clinical staff. 3. Provide 16 shifts of coverage/month to include RWJUH L&D, OR and ED Ob/Gyn consults, emergent/urgent gynecologic surgeries, GYN attending, E. Chandler Clinic coverage as needed. 4. Preparing and attending to all reports, claims, and correspondence necessary relating to Services. 5. Providing education and training for third party contractors nurses and sonographers in assisting with Services. 6. Provide assistance in establishing and developing protocols with respect to obstetric services to include third party contractors. 7. Timely contracting with public and private payors, and timely credentialing with payors. 8. Devoting such time, attention, and energy necessary for physician to furnish services in a manner consistent with accepted community standards of care and competence. 9. Doing all things reasonable to maintain and improve the physicians competency and professional skills including maintenance of board certification and state licensure. 10. These expectations are not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned by the Chair or Dean. |
