Job Summary: The Learning, Engagement, and Development Services (LEADS) at SUNY Buffalo State University is seeking to hire a Training Project Coordinator who will work on its NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) Training and Staff Development (TSD) T7 contract to manage and monitor liaison and planning relationships between ICHP and OTDA.

Responsibilities: This position entails the following tasks in addition to your current job duties:

Provide day-to-day guidance and evaluation of staff.

Provide project orientation and support to new staff.

Participate in regular communication with the Senior Manager.

Assist in the planning relationship between ICHP, the Senior Manager, and OTDA.

Provide coordination of communications/information from Senior Manager to the training staff.

Prepare written administrative reports such as quarterly summary narrative and quarterly spreadsheet of activities.

Assist the Senior Manager in the effort certification process.

Monitor policy application.

Create and maintain positive and professional relationships.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the position:

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of three years of experience in the implementation, training, planning, or operation of a human services-related program, with an emphasis on SNAP, TA, transitional supports, technology, or related area.

One or more years of experience coaching, directing, or supervising the work of others.

Two or more years of experience in the development and delivery of training.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Proficiency in the use of standard computer applications including, MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and at least one year of program or technology-related experience.

Familiarity and or experience using Web conferencing technology (i.e., Zoom, WebEx).

Physical requirements:

Ability to:

Move heavy boxes

Independently carry A/V equipment and materials

Arrange classroom furniture for training room set-up

Ability to travel throughout New York City’s five boroughs to deliver training, technical assistance, or attend meetings as needed.

Travel Requirements:

Possible frequent travel throughout NYC
