Mail Clerk (Part-Time)

Wage/Salary: $17.00 per hour
Essential Job Functions:
Process mail/packages received from couriers.
Sort mail and label accountable mail (USPS, UPS, FedEx).
Deliver mail to designated mail floors using the elevator or stairs and to the Post Office as requested.
Metering of letters flats and parcels for outgoing shipments.
Must be able to walk on client floors (up to 8 floors) in one day to deliver daily mail and packages.
May require one individual to do 2 runs in one day.

Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge of general office practices.
Mailroom knowledge is preferred.
Knowledge and use of computer and mail equipment.
Must be able to read and write English to aid in processing mail.
Must have basic knowledge of computer operation.
Must be able to handle a maximum package weight of 75 pounds.
Capable of operating or being trained to operate Mail Meters and UPS shipment stations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrable knowledge of

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no direct report.
