Title and Summary
Director, Account Management
Overview:
The Director – Acquiring Channel Management is key role in the U.S. market as we continue to expand merchant acceptance and the utilization of Mastercard products and services to the acceptance community. This individual serves as an acquiring SME both internal & external to the Mastercard organization. The role will be a combination of account management and business development – with a primary focus on deepening Mastercards relationship throughout the enterprise to ensure the optimization and full utilization of Mastercard services within assigned accounts.
Role:
• Develop / Execute market acquiring channel strategy to enhance Mastercard’s revenue and our relationships across all managed customers and drive all acceptance development sales activity and solutions sales with acquiring partners
• Identify opportunities for increased penetration and utilization of Mastercard products and services across the assigned accounts and develop corresponding account engagement plans and account strategy to deliver on in year Services targets
• Sell and optimize Services usage within assigned accounts, ensuring managed customers are fully utilizing Mastercard services, including cyber and intelligence, data services, open banking and Send capabilities.
• Leverage strong relationships with C-suite executives across the managed account base to achieve strategic Mastercard priorities and drive strong business case development & ROI analysis for partner/business case investments.
• Coordinate business/partnership development efforts with appropriate Mastercard business partners in Global Products & Solutions, Mastercard Technologies, Law & Franchise Integrity, Risk Management, etc., to ensure cross-functional alignment and maximum support for managed customers.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. New York City, New York: $197,000 – $316,000 USD
