Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Tarrytown, New York (On-site)

Job Description: We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage our accounts receivable operations.

Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing and billing contracts.

Handling complex invoicing based on contracts and agreements.

Contacting customers via phone, email, and letters.

Maintaining specific accounts and assisting the manager as needed.

Reviewing and reporting revenue in Excel/Dynamics.

Managing collections through email, phone calls, and occasional faxing.

Accurately posting received payments and ensuring timely recording in the accounting system.

Reconciling accounts using Microsoft Dynamics (SL) and other platforms.

Preparing and distributing reports on accounts receivable aging, payment status, and other metrics.

Reviewing and analyzing budget contracts and fee schedules.

Generating and sending invoices for services rendered.

Processing credit/debit memos, General Ledger entries, and performing general data entry.

Reconciling bank accounts.

The ideal candidate will have:

3 years of experience working in Accounts Receivable.

Bachelors degree in accounting or finance (or transferrable experience).

Familiarity with bank reconciliations.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Experience working in ERP systems.
