Hours: Monday – Friday 5am – 5pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Select proper plate cylinders for job clean and prep the cylinders
Prepping plates for mounting
select proper mounting materials required for specific print jobs
Set up print cylinders in mounting machine and set up plate layout on mounting machine
Mount polymer plates on printing cylinders in correct registration and alignment to bag size
Demounting and cleaning printing cylinders
Maintain plate inventory for repeat jobs
Safely work with cleaning chemicals
Keep work area and aisles clean
Work with the press operator to correct plate issues on press
Skills/Qualities Required:
Lift heavy objects utilizing hoist safely
Lift heavy objects 50 lbs.
Must be very attentive to detail and exacting to specifications
Must be able to read and understand written directions
Must be able to write legibly and fill out production related materials
Must be able to see colors and have good vision
Working knowledge of basic hand tools and have mechanical aptitude
Must be able to draw plate layouts
Must be able to read measuring tools
Must be able to adhere to company policy, safety rules and regulations, and wear PPE
