Job Title: Spot Welder

Job Description

It is the responsibility of the Spot Welding Operator to continuously spot weld components in accordance with work order instructions and customer drawing specifications. Work involves a diversification of production which may involve holding jigs to meet the required dimensional specifications.

Hard Skills

Setup of spot welds to the appropriate heat, tip, and AC forge delay

Ensure setup is acceptable based on visual and strength test

Pick necessary tooling for application

Perform spot weld operations as required in accordance with the drawing specifications

Change and dress electrodes

Sanding of spot welds

Utilize rigs equipment for positioning work

Perform self-inspections during the process

Ensure proper handling of parts and materials to avoid personal injury or product damage

Carry out maintenance of equipment

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 800 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Binghamton, New York.
