Role Purpose
As a Forecasting Analyst, you will assist in supporting Gorilla Glass Commercial Forecasting Team in achieving objectives by analyzing historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors to forecast future demand for our glass and evaluate existing processes for opportunities to automate. You will collaborate closely with various departments including Account Managers, Product Line Managers, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to develop accurate forecasts that inform key business decisions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize advanced statistical methods and forecasting techniques to develop accurate demand forecasts for our products.
Seek and execute opportunities to automate tasks performed by the team using R/Python/Excel.
Analyze historical shipment data, market trends, and other relevant factors to identify patterns and insights that inform forecasting models.
Focus on key Gorilla Glass customers to model and monitor sales patterns to enable accurate internal forecasts of product sales.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input, validate assumptions, and incorporate market intelligence into forecasts.
Monitor and evaluate forecast accuracy and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing adjustments as needed.
Communicate forecast results, assumptions, and insights to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, facilitating informed decision-making.
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies relevant to forecasting practices, continuously enhancing forecasting capabilities.
Support process improvement efforts to ensure both accuracy as well as efficiency and helping to align the commercial, operational, supply chain and finance functions on one forecast
Experiences/Education – Required
Bachelors degree in a Quantitative discipline, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
Proficiency in R/Python and Excel.
Experience with forecasting models, time series analysis, and predictive analytics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

The range for this position is $89,607.00 – $123,210.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
