As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Day Community you will be helping adults with intellectual and intellectual disabilities foster independence. You will be there every step of the way in the Bedford day program as our individuals gain valuable new skills. Work with a team of creative and reliable professionals to help our adults grow, learn and connect with others in their community. Its more than a career; its a fulfilling way of life.
Responsibilities:
– Implement goal plans
– Assist with personal care
– Following activity schedules
– Participate in interesting, growth-oriented in-facility activities and community outings with program attendees
Qualifications:
– Must be 18 years of age
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Valid drivers license and good driving record
– Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
