DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Management Aide distributes applications for housing and directs telephone calls to the proper department within the JHA. In this role, you will address incoming and outgoing mail, prepare, and print necessary forms, file required documents as needed, and complete all applicant background checks. Other requirements include maintaining routine contact with the maintenance department regarding resident maintenance issues, as well as communicating with the accounting department about rent and security check deposits. The Management Aide will be expected to interpret JHA policies and procedures, make sound decisions based on these policies, apply these policies to daily tasks, or know where to obtain the necessary information to make informed decisions. Expressing ideas orally and in writing and establishing effective working relationships with all those involved will be essential.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One (1) year of experience in performing tasks associated with the management of multi-family housing developments, or properties owned or administered by public housing agencies; or
One (1) year of comparable business, industrial, or professional employment; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Cambria County. If no eligible candidates who live within Cambria County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
