The Facilities Operations Manager provides leadership and oversees the daily operations of the Facilities Operations team, consisting of ~10 represented employees and an Allied Universal contract security team. This role is responsible for facility sustainment, modifications, cleaning, and security across five facilities totaling approximately 420,000 sq. ft. The manager ensures timely and effective execution of repairs, maintenance, and upgrades, while managing budget, resources, and external contractors.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Team Leadership & Supervision :
• Lead and supervise a team of ~10 represented employees responsible for facility sustainment, modifications, cleaning, equipment repairs, upgrades, relocations, and tool refurbishment.
• Ensure team performance meets operational needs, including safety and health standards, and manage recruitment, training, performance evaluations, work assignments, and disciplinary actions.
Facilities Management & Project Oversight :
• Establish and prioritize facility projects, including preventive maintenance (PM) plans, facility modifications, and repairs.
• Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms for detailed design and modifications, including new equipment setup.
• Act as the focal point for entering, tracking, and completing work orders and PM actions using LMBuildings system.
• Determine when outsourcing is required and collaborate with contractors to define scope of work, review quotes, and manage project timelines.
• Oversee external contractor performance, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services.
Security Management :
• Serve as the primary interface to a contracted security team of 15 Allied Universal personnel, ensuring compliance with visitor protocols and security guidelines.
• Monitor key performance indicators for security, approve invoices, and manage the execution of the security budget.
Budget & Procurement Management :
• Develop and manage the annual facilities sustainment and improvement budget.
• Oversee the procurement process by coordinating with Purchasing for purchase orders, contracts, and financial oversight of facility projects.
• Coordinate with Corporate Energy to hedge fixed prices for utilities and minimize risk from market fluctuations.
Compliance & Permitting :
• Ensure compliance with all county and local regulations, including obtaining necessary permits for facility modifications and upgrades.
• Lead safety and health initiatives to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Work Environment :
• This position involves working in a dynamic environment, overseeing multiple facilities and ensuring smooth daily operations. May require occasional evening or weekend work to address urgent facility needs or security concerns.

Basic Qualifications:
• Facility &/or infrastructure sustainment experience
• Leadership experience in a represented work environment
• In-depth knowledge of chiller/boiler, electrical, pneumatic, GFS and BAS environmental control systems, HVAC, CNC machines, overhead cranes &/or paint booth systems
• Possess technical familiarity with life cycle maintenance.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors in related field
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics
• 20 years facility and infrastructure experience spanning maintenance, sustainment and upgrades in a manufacturing operations environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience developing predictive and preventative maintenance
• Knowledge of LMBuildings to record facility and capital equipment life cycle maintenance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
• Previous Lockheed Martin experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
