DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Residential Services Supervisor, you will function as the coordinator of the living area and ensure individuals at Ebensburg Center receive supports and services by coordinating and overseeing the interdisciplinary team process. You will be responsible for overseeing professional and non-professional staff in planning and organizing support services for specific individuals in their assigned living areas. In this role, you will offer direction to interdisciplinary team members in order to develop, implement, monitor, and revise individual support plans.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
This position requires a flex schedule which includes working up to two weekend days per month to ensure communication and training for staff on the alternate shift.
Work hours and schedule may change based on operational needs.
Overtime and travel may be required as operationally necessary.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Three years of professional experience providing therapeutic care and services for individuals with a developmental disability, which included the development and implementation of individual residential support plans and services, and possession of an active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania; or

One year of professional experience providing therapeutic care and services for individuals with a developmental disability, which included the development and implementation of individual residential support plans and services, and a bachelors degree in human services, behavioral sciences, education, or nursing; or

Two years of professional experience providing therapeutic care and services for individuals with a developmental disability, which included the development and implementation of individual residential support plans and services, and a bachelors degree.

Special Requirements:
You must meet the qualifications of a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations.
Applicants who qualify based on authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania who currently possess an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Legal Requirements:
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
