Responsibilities
ELT Executive SIOP Review
Reconcile global supply and demand from 4 Regional SIOP meetings, aligning with the financial plans and understanding the financial implications of different scenarios.
Conduct and/or facilitate what-if analysis to create alternate scenarios for reconciling demand, supply, and financial plans.
Explain the risks and upside associated with different scenarios for more productive discussions in the executive S&OP meeting.
Align within the multifunctional teams on decisions made / needed that will be presented in the SIOP meeting, leveraging the MSA Operating System to drive and track actions.
Build rapport, understanding and trust with ELT members through ongoing dialogue and delivering results. Continuously seek feedback on the process, meeting effectiveness, metrics, and subsequent activities to identify issues to resolve. Regional SIOP Reviews
Oversee all strategic Regional SIOP reviews across the NNA, LAR, EMEA & APAC Regions.
Ensure that the Regional SIOP processes operate to industry best practice and adhere to the monthly standard cadence of review.
Communicate relevant assumptions, risks, upsides, and decisions across regional processes that have an impact on other regions. Ensure these items are discussed in Regional Reconciliation Reviews in the formation of the monthly agenda.
Attend & support Regional SIOP Coordinators in monthly Regional Executive SIOP Reviews. Capture key assumptions, risks, upsides, and decisions that need reconciled upward to the ELT Executive SIOP Review.
Onboard newcomers from different functions on the process and engage them on the key expectations. Continuous Improvement & Project Support
Use metrics and analytics to understand areas for opportunity and change within SIOP.
Periodically conduct health check on the SIOP process and outcome.
Support MSA projects, both internal and external to Supply Chain.
Build, foster and drive a high performing, learning organization.
Qualifications
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Excellent customer focus, effective communication and executive presentation skills.
Strong analytical abilities.
Broad knowledge of supply chain, operations, forecasting and global distribution modeling.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence attitudes and behavior as well as facilitate change.
Proven leadership ability to coach associates, manage functional teams while promoting teamwork, delegation, individual responsibility and positive employee morale.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to travel 15-25% globally. Experience Required: Level I:
5 years of SIOP coordination, SIOP process experience, or supply chain planning experience. Level II:
5 years of SIOP coordination SIOP process experience, or supply chain planning experience
2 years of people management experience. Experience Preferred: Level I:
An in-depth understanding of sales, demand planning and supply planning.
Exposure to, and understanding of, financial planning and the linkages between the demand/supply plan and the financial plan.
Working knowledge of the commercial side of the business, as well as operations.
Understanding of supply chain flexibility, how it can be increased or decreased, and the associated costs.
Understands organizational “hot spots” and focuses diverse groups on common organizational outcomes. Fosters productive dialogue and manages high-tension situations with diplomacy and tact to maintain credibility and influence.
Skilled at collaborating with teams of people with disparate opinions and agendas to develop common outcomes, strategies, and plans. Builds sense of team goals, focusing team on those ends while balancing trade-offs in each stakeholder community.
Ability to use SAP IBP. Level II:
Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
Develop a highly capable team and processes to provide a world-class closed loop SIOP process.
The ability to build rapport, understanding and trust with all key stakeholders through ongoing dialogue and delivering results.
A proven ability to communicate with stakeholders across the organization, including listening to understand multiple viewpoints and their relevance to the success of S&OP outcomes.
Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels and execution.
Strong leadership skills. Ability to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based organization.
Proven change agent. Is not satisfied with the status quo and works proactively to continually improve it.
Education required:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business or Related Field
Education preferred:
MBA, Supply chain/operations certification a plus, such as APICS, CPIM or lean.
