JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Justice and Safety Institute is currently seeking qualified Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice Trainers to instruct in our programs.Courses within this program focus on leadership and management models, styles, and approaches conducted on site for the client agency, online or in an asynchronous platform.
Subjects include, but are not limited to, Budgeting, Report Writing, Grant Writing, First Line Supervision, Field Training Officer, Police Executive Development, Advanced Executive Development, Media, Leadership and Command, Police Conduct, Performance Appraisal, and Risk Management.
Requirements for this position include:
1)Travel for in-person instruction.
2) Experience in Law enforcement
3) Law Enforcement supervisory experience
4) Correctional Facility supervisory experience
5) operation of a motor vehicle – a valid drivers license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
