DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will be tasked with cleaning offices, lobby areas, hallways, and restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, floors, and all related fixtures. You will also handle waste disposal, managing trash, and recycling by sorting materials and emptying them into the appropriate containers. It is essential to use custodial supplies and modern cleaning equipment safely. Additionally, you will help maintain safe conditions by removing snow and clearing debris from walkways and entrances to ensure a tidy environment. You should stay informed about the occupational hazards and safety precautions associated with the job and perform your duties in accordance with DMVA general safety rules and specific safety guidelines for this position.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours are 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM), with rotating days and weekends and a 30-minute lunch.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Requirements:
You must possess a valid federal or state-issued photo ID and pass a favorable NCIC screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap.
You must be able to perform repetitive motions; reaching, bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, walking, climbing stairs, and standing on hard surfaces.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Previous cleaning experience
Possession of a Class C drivers license
