Lead process mapping and continuous improvement activities of production line
Provide statistical analysis of processes
Participate in engineering/production functions to achieve objectives
Lead/support engineering activities regarding the innovation, design, purchase, fabrication, installation, start-up, and validation of production machinery and processes (URS / Risk Assessment / IOPQ/PV / Change Control)
Perform root cause analysis of customer complaints and associated CAPAs
Establish operating procedures and maintenance requirements
Lead experimental and validation protocols for equipment, processes, and materials
Support product portfolio activities
Propose projects for cost reductions, feasibility studies, facility layout, and equipment modifications
Assist in innovation, design, and process development serving as plant key contact and manufacturing expert
Define and develop control strategies and systems for automated manufacturing equipment
Apply Project Management tools to coordinate and implement CAPEX & Equipment/Product related projects
Your Profile
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Materials engineering or equivalent
4 years of Mechanical or Process Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required
Advanced degree, Six Sigma green belt or black belt certification preferred
Proficiency with statistical software (Minitab/JMP)
Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 and 15378; along with cGMP and validation processes preferred
AutoCAD experience required
Proficient with SolidWorks CAD
Thorough experience with MS Office
Ability to read, write and speak English language
Strong communication skills
Analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to effectively deliver results in a fast pace manufacturing setting
