Job Title: Paint Prepper

Job Description

• Wipe, sand, inspect all parts, including preparation of painted parts for paint repair. Prime parts as well.

• Plug and mask all parts and blow any excess water and shot from cavities within the parts to allow for proper paint adhesion. Operate the overhead hoist for hanging parts.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards. Follow all safe procedures in assembling and testing all models/products in assigned function.

• Inspect completed parts for quality and validate components meet production and quality standards.

• Assist in driving back defects to the point of origin and facilitate corrective actions.

• Maintain inventory levels by identifying, labeling, stocking, and recording materials and supplies where applicable.

2 Openings 3rd Shift 8pm-6am Mon-Thurs

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mc Connellsburg, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Headcount: Current workforce in the weld department is 300 employees. Need to reach around 400 to be fully staffed. Culture: Work independently and with others. Environment: Inside paint booths, strong paint odor, hot work environment. Painters must wear a full paint suit and respirator (candidates should not have facial hair to ensure proper fit). Dress Code: Jeans, steel toes, and clean work shirt.
