Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager II, the Manufacturing Supervisor responsibilities include coordinating and supervising activities of equipment and personnel throughout the facility with a focus on optimizing Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Spoilage. The role may involve changing shifts and plant departments to cover absences or provide additional support. Responsibilities also include managing machinery set-up and adjustment, inspecting products to ensure compliance with standards, overseeing quality, and recommending modifications to achieve optimal performance. The supervisor will communicate pertinent information between departments and shifts, work with employees to identify and fix machinery and equipment problems, perform on-the-job training and coaching, and complete necessary documentation such as production sheets, job progressions, disciplinary actions, and accident reports.
