JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Office of Residence Life at Penn State Universitys Abingtonislooking for dynamic and energeticPenn State students to join the team at the Lions Gate Residence Hall. Desk assistants are vital members of the Lions Gate team, whosupportoperations within theResidence Hall throughout the academic school year.They serve as representatives of Lions Gateandare responsible for upholding the mission and vision of Penn State University.Successful candidatesmust model appropriate behaviorandmaintain good academic and student conduct status with the University.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Providing outstanding customer services including answering phones and routing calls and messages

Serving as a resource for general building inquiries

Monitoring guest sign in /out

Issuing temporary parking passes to guests

Observing lobby area and reporting any issues to professional staff or University Police

Games and Equipment sign in/sign out

General administrative duties and/or projects as assigned
