Job Title: Electrical System Engineer III

Reports To: US Based Products – Airframe Systems, functionally reporting to AW609 Electrical Systems TL

Summary of Position: (Brief description of overall responsibilities and function)
AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corporation is looking for a highly motivated self-starter who has a passion for aerospace engineering. The selected candidate will need to provide engineering support for aircrafts in final assembly line and experimental operation for electrical system to meet companys safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
The main tasks are as follows:
Support supplier qualification activities, including environmental qual, EMI qual reviews. Ensure conformity requirement are covered for the systems/equipment under compliance testing.
Coordinate the substantiation of type documentation required to meet the approved certification basis, providing expertise for resolution of non-
compliance, support releasing of test plans/reports in accordance to program milestones.
Work closely with DER in finding/showing compliance to applicable technical, programmatic and certification requirements.
Support on-site prototypes technical activities and production line acting as sustaining engineer. Support preparation, verification and integration of the applicable certification plans and oversight activities which show compliance.
Support AW609 electrical testing and analysis necessary to show compliance to certification rules and reports from the supplier qualification activities consistent with program priorities and departmental best practices.

Qualifications for Position:
Education
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent specialization
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering environment, preferably aerospace. Combination of education and/or experience which would permit performance of essential duties and responsibilities.
Competencies & Attributes
Good knowledge of aircrafts electrical systems installations as well as the standard aeronautical
design, qualification, and certification procedures.
Proven experience to create engineering reports, communicate them efficiently cross a
diverse, complex, and multicultural organization.
General understanding of engineering methodology, tools, and processes
Communication and presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate to different levels of
the organization.
FAA Certification processes experience is a plus
Domestic and International travelling for short periods may be required on an occasional basis
