DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
2nd shift hours: 3pm-11pm
3rd shift hours: 11pm-7am
Starting pay: $20.60
Work safely in a factory environment, which include, but is not limited to, the following:
The proper wearing of Personal Protective Equipment
The recognition and avoidance of potential hazards inherent in working in a manufacturing facility, including working safely around automated manufacturing machinery, automated conveyors, and forklift traffic
Adherence to all company safety regulations
Participation in company safety programs
Identify the specifics of corrugate stock, including flute, substrate, and liner variations
Read and comprehend a standard and metric tape measure
Work in general labor positions on the factory floor, which include, but are not limited to:
The bundling, stacking, loading, and unitizing of corrugate material into or off of converting or corrugating machine centers
Hand manipulation, hand pack, and manual break apart of corrugate material
Training as an operator, assistant operator, or machine helper on specific converting or corrugating machinery
Performing clean up and preventative maintenance of the general factory, automated rails, and the converting, corrugating, and ancillary equipment
Quality checks of manufactured material to ensure it is manufactured to customer specification
Identification and removal of non-conforming material from an active production line
Other specific tasks as required by plant supervision
Interpret and understand order information presented on factory shop cards and specifications sheets
Identify proper materials, parts, and tools as needed for specific orders and machine centers
Demonstrate an ability to satisfy or exceed production expectations on an hourly and daily basis
Mathematically calculate and record production data as needed, and input production data into company specific software programs
Adhere to shop rules and attendance policy as per the union collective bargaining agreement
Work as a productive team member in a union environment
Follow instructions of plant supervision and management
