Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Ordnance Storage & Shipment Branch (M33), Industrial Support Division (M3) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions to the GS-11 and GS-12. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the management of AA and E and other ordnance related items during the receipt, storage, and issue process. You will serve as the Indian Head Division representative regarding Ammunition Distribution and Control (AD and C) policies and procedures and Ordnance Information System (OIS). You will be responsible for supervising a staff who perform inventory transactions for AA and E and other ordnance related items in accordance with Department of Navy (DON) and local policies. You will ensure all assigned functions are executed in a timely manner while taking corrective action as necessary to ensure performance standards are maintained. You will plan for the distribution of workload including assignment of projects to subordinates. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assessing and developing inventory management methods and processes for organizational implementation ensuring compliance with storage & handling policies and regulations. OR Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
