Requirements:
2 years of experience in purchasing, including working with purchase orders, accounts payable, vendors, and customers.
2 years of administrative support experience (can overlap with purchasing experience).
Knowledge of bid/pricing solicitation practices is essential.
Proficiency with spreadsheet software (Microsoft Office Suite), electronic calendars, and computerized purchasing systems preferred.

Responsibilities
Reviews purchase requisitions for appropriateness, issues purchase orders, and ensures timely processing based on due dates.
Communicates with internal customers and vendors to prevent supply chain disruptions.
Contacts vendors to research product info, verify costs, service availability, and delivery dates.
Updates vendor and product data in Pathways Material Management (PMM) as needed.
Prepares charts, reports, and correspondence accurately for supervisor review; proofreads and makes recommendations.
Answers calls, provides information, and follows guest relations practices.
Gathers data, compiles reports and prepares summaries as needed.
Manages calendars, schedules meetings, and assists with materials preparation.
