BECOME A STATION COORDINATOR AT PRIMEFLIGHT!
Our Station Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of station operations. This role involves coordinating various activities at the station, facilitating communication between teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for operational excellence. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, collaborating with stakeholders, monitoring safety compliance, maintaining accurate records, and delivering high levels of customer service. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A STATION COORDINATOR
Oversee daily station operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and aviation regulations
Track and report any delays at Actual Time of Departure (ATD) to relevant personnel
Monitor and assess contracted vendor services for aircraft handling throughout the flight process
Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft upon arrival, checking for damage and securing locks
Perform light cleaning of lavatories and galleys as needed, completing quality control and operational checklists while maintaining necessary flight documents and files
Coordinate flight schedules, gate assignments, and ground-handling activities for efficient operations, collaborating with airlines, ground service providers, and stakeholders
Serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues, facilitating communication among departments, including flight crews, ground staff, and maintenance teams
Conduct regular briefings to align staff on operational priorities and enhance overall customer service
Monitor safety protocol adherence and assist in developing and implementing safety programs and training for station personnel
Participate in audits and inspections, addressing any identified issues promptly and ensuring that all third-party service providers adhere to operational procedures
Maintain accurate records of station activities, including delays, incidents, and operational metrics, and prepare reports highlighting performance trends and areas for improvement
Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost savings
Address passenger inquiries and concerns, collaborating with customer service teams to enhance the overall travel experience
Provide support to operating crews and customers, addressing any concerns as they arise
Brings their “A” game every day with energy and enthusiasm, respect for their team, and the highest regard for safety
May be assigned other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age or older
Eligible to work in the United States
Minimum of 2 years of experience in airport operations
Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
Pass a background check and drug screen
Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
