What you will do:

Coordinate with defense leadership and stakeholders and internal financial data analytics teams to understand and diagnose the operations, procurement, and sustainment challenges that generate large cost sinks for defense programs.

Learn the ins-and-outs of the defense operations, procurement, and sustainment activities in order to tie data from financial data systems to the tactical issues within the supply chain and engineering activities and identify areas for improvement to affordability

Leverage the outputs of the project financial data analytics teams to develop affordability driver trees, cost benefit analyses, and insightful courses of action for the project Joint Program Office to implement

Conduct conversations that will engage relevant parties across the project supply chain to build a culture of cost consciousness within the Joint Program Office and beyond

Work with the project financial data analytics teams to conduct cost analyses that will reveal more insights into program affordability

Qualifications:

Required

Bachelors Degree.

Active secret clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Ability to travel up to 25% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve with occasional on-site work out of Crystal City, VA

2 years of Supply Chain, Procurement, and/or Engineering Experience

2 years of Financial Data Analysis Experience

MS Excel and PowerPoint proficient

Strong writing and oral communication skills

Preferred

DoD Experience

Comfortable with daily interactions with senior leaders in a military setting

Advanced data analysis, programming (Python/R/SQL), and dashboarding (Tableau/PowerBI) experience

Experience working with data science teams

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,600-$141,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
