Looking for a contract to hire accounting specialist. I am looking for someone with some bookkeeping experience but does not have to be fully capable but willing to learn.This individual will be almost exclusively focused on A/R, GC billings, Sub billings, and such. This ideal candidate is someone who will want to grow into a leadership position in 5 years. The role is 100% onsite in Virginia Beach. Job description

Commercial Mechanical Contractor in Virginia Beach is seeking a

Bookkeeping Assistant/Accounts Receivable Clerk

QUICKBOOKS ONLINE use knowledge a must (3 years) and Microsoft Excel a must.

At least 3 years of experience with account reconciliations, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, and pays attention to detail.

Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.

Processing and recording transactions.

Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as filing, data entry, invoicing, payment reminders, collections, and contacting sales and/or clients.

Skills

Basic Accounts Receivable

AR (1 year of experience is required)

AR Billing

Excel (2 years of experience is required)

QuickBooks (2 years of experience is required)

Bookkeeping

Invoicing
