Summary You will serve as an IT Specialist in the LOGISTICS AND LIFE CYCLE ENGINEERING (40000), INSTALLATION PLANNING & EXECUTION (42000) of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC. Responsibilities You will be assigned as an IT Specialist and a subject matter expert for the oversight of Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Information, Surveillance and Reconnaissance system or systems installations onboard ships under their cognizance You will serve as Platform Execution Manager and the principal point of contact for matters concerning Fleet Installation and Integration of C4ISR and NIWC. You will have overall responsibility to plan, coordinate and direct the installation tasking assigned, and as needed, provide temporary support in a Senior Onsite Installation Coordinator level role. You will report to the FIO Installation Execution Manager (IEM) and the Surface Modernization Execution Lead on the status of installation execution activities on assigned platforms and the Competency Supervisor on process refinement and improvement. You will ensure installation execution status is monitored from A-360 to completion of installation and final close-out of SOVT discrepancies, reporting any issues affecting cost, schedule and performance to the FIO IEM and IPT Lead Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading, coaching, and motivating a diverse group of technically skilled team members with varied levels of experience and expertise with a range of affiliations (Government/Contractor/Shipyard) to plan, initiate, monitor and deliver comprehensive complex installation projects.
